Laura O'Mahony is the co-host of the Red Raw podcast with Rob Heffernan and a familiar face on RTÉ's Today Show, where she dishes out celebrity gossip on the Rumour Has It segment. Her television credits include memorable roles as Grainne in Bridget and Eamonn, Briege in The School, Laura in Ronanism, and Auntie B in Body Brothers. She also lends her voice as Mammy Owl in the beloved children's show Critters TV.
For three years, Laura co-hosted the breakfast show on Cork's Red FM, and she's a staple on the stand-up comedy scene, with her most recent show, Skitting, Howling, Screaming, Roaring, selling out at the Everyman Theatre. She is also a founding member of the cast of The Improv Panto and The Improvised Murder Mystery.
With a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies and a Master’s in English, Laura occasionally writes for the Ask Audrey column in the Irish Examiner. Formerly a member of the CCCahoots comedy troupe, her widely acclaimed sketches can be found on Instagram at @lauralolslots. And, as many will attest, she’s currently one of the funniest mothers at the school gates.
